The Guardian: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, bowed to pressure and extended the deadline for political parties to conduct their primaries for the 2023 general election.

Daily Trust: Reports of governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have continued to trickle in since the exercise ended Friday night with some of the aspirants springing surprises by defeating formidable contenders.


Saturday SUN: Like a heavily pregnant woman gripped with apprehension over her fate until she is delivered, Nigerians have been anxious over the two aspirants out of the about 38 that will fly the presidential flags of the two major political parties, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 election.
